We dream on. Our musicadventure in Graz reaches the next level, the jury´s vote led us to the big final on the 3rd of April in the Volkshaus in Graz. If you´re interested in being part of that show, let us know., maybe we´ll organize a coach.

On the 19th we played a superb gig in the Soulveranda, together with Papermoon and AUSTROzep. 1500 euros were donated for a home of mentally and physically abused children in Lower-Austria. Look at www.swpi.at for more information.

Participating in the great and sympathetic „Star oft he bar“-bandcontest in the Grazer Postgarage we succeeded in qualifying for the semi-finals on the 6th of March. Finally we held the 1st place at the jury´s vote. Thanks to the team and thank God that it´s still possible participating in a contest where quality of music and perfomance is more important than bringing hundreds of fans to the event. Yeah, finally we made it. Leaving the "Musicmaker"-contest as the jury-winner, but due to the auditorium we missed the top-position because of 3(!!!) points. Anyway, we say thanks for the prize.

Vitruv live on air at Antenne Styria!! On next Monday the 27th of July, you can listen to our appearance on air from 09:00 to 11:00 p.m. o'clock. For all who are not in Styria or Carinthia at this time - that doesn´t matter at all. Just move to www.antenne.net and be part of the show via live-stream. In the show called "Freispiel" we´ll present our debut album Still Inside and a selection of the most favourite songs out of our private cd-archives. So turn in and be part of it...

"Still inside" now has appeared - not only herewith this, we may immediately welcome a new man in 6 strings, Silvio Sinzinger will support us in future in the guitar. There are infos soon to read in the "Band-Section".

Finally we made it: On may the 29th our first album "Still Inside" will be released.

Regretfully our guitarist Alex has left us to spend more time with his main project "chiller". All the best for your musical future and thank you for your support on the cd.

The recording for our debut-album are completed. The CD-production is ready

Regretfully we have to inform you that Michaela and TOM have left the
VITRUVian project. we want to thank them for their support through all these
months and years and we wish them all the best for their further musical plans.

4 – 8th VITRUV is participating @ Troubadour singer-/songwritercontest in
Berlin again (www.troubadour.de.com)

Vitruv has got two new members: Alexander Sieber on guitars and Peter
Huebl on saxophone. Alex and Peter are/were playing in many different
bands (www.diechiller.at and others). More news about these two guys will
follow in the “band-section” soon.

Unbelievable but true, the Austrian Musicfunds (www.musikfonds.at) is
financing our first studio-album. Recordings have already started in Wolfgang
Czeland´s studio (www.sheeptracks.com). The album is planned to be released
in March 09.

On the 20th of January we support Chris Gelbmann in the legendary Vienna
Chelsea (more infos: www.chelsea.co.at - “concerts” section).

On the 24th of January we appear live in the ((szene)) Vienna contributing the
charity-concert “gefühls:betont” supporting children suffering from the

6.12. appeared @ “Uncle Tom´s Cabin” in the Kurpark Baden. A superb
spontaneous gig!

9.12. we became nominated for the “Austrian Newcomeraward 2009”

13.12. VITRUV goes Xmas, part 1. we´ve been invited to bring the real
Vitruvian xmas-spirit to the people of Mistelbach, joining there traditional
charity-christmas-show (www.christmas-in-mistelbach.at)

17.12. VITRUV goes Xmas, part 2 – even the same spirits are demanded in
the “Römerhalle” in Zeiselmauer.
